Pangu Creates the World A Chinese Mythology Tale
Pangu Creates the World: A Chinese Mythology Tale
In the beginning, there was only chaos. No land, no sea, no sky; only a great void. And from this void emerged Pangu, a mighty being with the body of a dragon and the head of an ox. He stood upright in the void and began to separate heaven and earth.
The task was enormous. The two halves were still connected at their backsides when Pangu first started his work. As he stretched his arms outwards towards either side, he also pushed apart the heavens above him and pressed down on the earth below him with his feet.
This struggle took 18 thousand years to complete but eventually succeeded in creating our world as we know it today - with its clear skies above and solid ground beneath our feet.
As Pangu finally finished his work he decided that it would be good for him to rest for a while before continuing on his journey through eternity. So he sat down cross-legged on Mount Tai where he rested for another 9 thousand years until all of creation had been completed.
During this time many other gods were born including those who ruled over animals like birds and fish or controlled elements such as fire water wind snow ice rain thunder lightning clouds darkness light moon sun stars etcetera
And so after resting for another 9 thousand years they set about building temples shrines altars statues images idols sacred texts scriptures hymns prayers rituals ceremonies festivals sacrifices offerings gifts donations contributions alms charity kindness compassion love peace harmony happiness prosperity success safety security protection health wealth fame honor reputation wisdom knowledge understanding discernment insight intuition creativity inspiration innovation imagination joy delight pleasure enjoyment leisure recreation entertainment sport games amusement pastime hobby interest passion enthusiasm fervor zeal dedication commitment perseverance persistence diligence effort hard work determination resolve strength courage confidence self-discipline self-control patience endurance long-suffering forgiveness tolerance acceptance humility modesty simplicity contentment gratitude thanksgiving praise worship reverence awe wonder admiration appreciation respect loyalty devotion faith trust hope optimism positivity energy vitality life force spirit soul essence nature universe cosmos existence reality truth justice fairness equality freedom individuality uniqueness diversity variety complexity beauty elegance refinement grace poise charm allure magnetism charisma attraction appeal seduction temptation allure fascination enchantment bewitchment captivation obsession compulsion addiction dependence craving longing yearning desire aspiration ambition goal objective purpose intention plan strategy tactic method approach process outcome result effect consequence impact influence legacy heritage tradition culture history identity community society civilization nation state humanity collective consciousness universal mind cosmic consciousness divine will higher power supreme being absolute truth eternal verity ultimate reality infinite wisdom infinite intelligence infinite power infinite love unconditional love unbounded potential limitless possibilities boundless opportunities endless adventures eternal journey never-ending quest cosmic adventure intergalactic travel space exploration time travel parallel universes alternate realities multiverse infinity beyond
